St Mary Magdalene Church, Boveney

Nestling beside the River Thames by Boveney Lock, this little chapel is a reminder that in Medieval times there was a thriving wharf nearby, which was used for transporting wood from Windsor Forest.

Willy Lott’s Cottage, Flatford, Suffolk

The Cottage looks much as it did when John Constable painted it 200 years ago. What has changed are the trees. Today Ash and Oak predominate, whereas in Constable’s day the Suffolk countryside was characterised by English Elms, which tragically succumbed to Dutch Elm Disease in the 1970s.
